The Spec R features a dual solenoid that diverts pressure away from the turbo actuator to achieve higher boost. This dual solenoid is linked to a smart control unit installed inside the car, which allows you to control the boost pressure.

The control unit also displays live boost pressure.

The Spec R unit has four user programmable boost settings.

Scramble and gain settings are programmeable.

There is a boost warning mode, which can be pre set to visually and audibly alert the driver to an overboost situation.

The unit can also be programmed to reduce the solenoid duty cycle in an overboost situation.

It is suitable for both internal and external wastegate applications.

The Spec R can control up to 2.5 bar of boost, and is supplied with wiring and English instructions.

The SBC -ID III Spec R, uses a twin solenoid set up for better response and holding high boost pressures. Maximum controllable boost is 2.5 bar (36.75 psi).

It also features four programmable channels for setting up boost pressure, and is suitable for both actuator and remote waste gate driven turbos.

It has an impressive list of functions that include a boost warning and limiter, scramble, speed map (only used with the Blitz Power Meter iD), record and replay mode, automatic peak boost hold, data display (with optional harness), graphical boost and speed chart, and fully adjustable contrast.
There is also an additional ‘gain’ setting that allows you to programme the response time of the turbos. The SBC-iD head unit is 1/2 din size.

When the Power Meter iD is linked to the SBC-iD via the infra-red portal on both units, it allows the speed map function to be used; this enables six different boost settings to be used across the speed range of the vehicle.

If you purchase the optional harness (part number 15053) you’ll be able to read any of the ECU parameters that output between 0-16V through the SBC-iD display. This means you’ll be able to view such information as injector pulse width, inlet air temperature, airflow, throttle and many other data readings making it easy to keep a close check over how your engine is performing.

The SBC -ID III is supplied with simple wiring and English instructions.

The SBC -ID III Spec S, uses a single solenoid for sharp boost response. Recommended maximum controllable boost is 1.3 bar.

The SBC i-Color is the latest in the range of Blitz Boost Controllers and represents a revolution in both performance and display. Featuring a 65,000 colour display, and a screen that can be flipped so that it can be mounted in different positions.

The SBC i-Color's primary purpose is electronic boost control and the Spec S version, employs a single solenoid design for for sharp boost response and can control boost pressure up to 1.3bar.

The head unit can also display a multitude of readings including boost, power and torque, speed and rpm.

With the relevant sensors fitted the unit can also display oil/water temperature, oil/fuel pressure

The SBC i-Color can also read wideband air/fuel ratio with the addition of the A/F Analyser.

Note: There are 2 plugs for optional sensors. One is strictly for Temperature and the other is for either Pressure OR A/F Analyser.
The unit is not able to display both Pressure and A/F.

All this funtionctionality means that many gauges can be combined into one unit, especially useful for those with limited dashboard space.
